Acupuncture has been around in China for centuries, but only came to the United States as recently as the 1970s. Of all the facets of Chinese medicine, acupuncture is the most well known. The practice of acupuncture involves fine needles inserted in to specific points on the body that correlate with meridians and muscle pathways. The insertions stimulate "Qi" which in turn balances the body both physically and mentally. Qi is the Chinese understanding of the life force which circulates with the blood throughout the body.

Acupuncture is always done with disposable and sterile needles and can treat many imbalances and diseases
